Here you will find frequently asked questions regarding the event and its procedure.
Which are the languages of the conference?
The languages spoken at the conference will be Russian and and English.
If you are planning to bring a translator with you are free to do so.
Please also register him in advance as participant.
How will I get to Donbass?
You have to go to Russia. Meeting point will be Rostov-on-Don's new airport "Platov".
So you will probably have to fly there. You can check out the
best flights from your location
at google flight search. We will arrange your transportation from Rostov-on-Don Platov airport to
Donbass
and the event location. The transfer will happen by bus or cars according to number of participants and
organisation.
Where exactly is the event going to take place?
It will take place in the city of
Lugansk
in the independent country Lugansk People's Republic.
When is the event? At which date?

Which currency do I need for the travel?
You will need Russian Rubles. You can also change Euros and USD in Lugansk itself, but it will be more expensive
and it might be hard to find an exchange store. So try to get some rubles in advance.
How much will the event cost?
Nothing, but you have to pay the flight to Rostov-on-Don (Russia) on your own. You can check out the
best flights from your location and
google
flight search. Additionally there will be fees for the hotel you will be staying in, which will be
around 1000
rubles per night. You should also take some money (rubles) with you to spend in Donbass for every day stuff like
food and souvenirs.
Where am I going to sleep in Donbass?
We will have a hotel in Luganks, Lugansk People's Republic.
Do I need a Passport?
Yes, you can not enter Russia and Donbass without valid passport and Russian double entry Visa.

Do I need a Visa to come to Donbass?
Yes, you will need a Russian Visa,
which has 2 times entry to Russia, because you are leaving the
territory
of the Russian Federation and entering Donbass and you have to be able to return. There is no official
representation of the Russian Federation in Donbass. Without a two entry Visa you won't be able to come back and
so
you are not able to cross the border. If you are citizen of the Russian Federation you will only need your
passport.
There are no special visas required for entering Donbass region.
Important: We will tell you how to obtain a visa and provide an invitation.
Will I be able to speak to people in Donbass?
Of course, if you speak Russian. English is only spoken by few.
Every single word Russian will help you on your trip.
Will I be allowed to take photos?
Of course you will be allowed. But please keep in mind that Donbass is still a war zone. Taking photos of
military
equipment or convoys can get you into trouble for espionage. So please only take general photos.
Is it dangerous to travel to Donbass?
The situation in Donbass has settled down over the recent months. We will not put you in any unnecessary danger,
take care of you and do our best to ensure your safety. It is also necessary to understand that the city center
of Lugansk wasn't anymore under fire for a while.
